BOXING (STRESS RELIEVER)
Mondays & Fridays, 4 - 5 p.m.

Experience the ultimate stress-busting workout at our co-ed Stress Reliever Boxing Class, perfect for beginners seeking an intense yet enjoyable workout in a supportive environment. Designed to help you forget your daily stressors, our classes begin with lighter exercises and invigorating circuits, leading into exciting combinations that will bring out your inner boxer. From Coach Dave: "I find it difficult to control sometimes as laughter is rampant!" This class welcomes all ages and genders, making it ideal for anyone looking to try boxing to reduce stress. We emphasize punching techniques that can transform a bad day into a great one. You'll see improvements in your technique, power, and agility. In this inclusive and friendly setting, you'll make new friends while acquiring boxing skills. Our classes cover combinations, slipping, ducking, routines, and various bag and partner drills. Stress Reliever is a stress-free, enjoyable, and empowering boxing experience!

BOXING (CARDIO)
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Looking for a high-intensity and diverse workout? Join our co-ed Cardio Boxing class, the perfect choice for those seeking an all-encompassing fitness regimen. This class offers a dynamic blend of boxing techniques, exercises, circuits, and partner work, combined with a variety of cardio, toning, and strength-building activities. A typical session begins with a brisk warm-up, including activities like running or shadow-boxing with weights, followed by an intense cardio and/or strength-training circuit. The remainder of the class is dedicated to honing your boxing technique, engaging in partner work, and mastering high-intensity boxing drills. Expect each class to be a unique and exhilarating experience that will leave you dripping with sweat! Please note that "Cardio Boxing" is not for beginners. It's designed for individuals already active and ready for a more challenging workout. You'll need to keep up with a fast-paced routine involving running, jumping, lateral movements, quick-paced punching drills, and partner workouts. Get ready to feel the burn and take your fitness to the next level!

BOXING (TRADITIONAL)
Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8 p.m., Fridays 5:30 - 7 p.m.

You don’t need to be in the competitive circuit to participate in this class - anyone who is interested in a high-intensity workout is welcome. This co-ed class is largely self-directed and combines rounds of skipping and shadow boxing, bag work, focus pads, and core workouts. Individuals looking to go into the competitive stream communicate with head coach David Penny to broaden their knowledge through sparring and technical drills.

Competitors: 1 hour 30 minutes
Non-competitors: 1 hour

YOUTH BOXING
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Coaches: David Penny & Kim Giese
An introduction to boxing for ages 11 to 18: exercises, drills, bag work, focus pads, partner drills - all of the above and more. In this class, participants will build character, make friends, and learn commitment and respect. The class is strict but also fun. The coaches care deeply about the students and their development. Each class is different and open to all levels.

LITTLE CHAMPS
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Coach: David Penny
An introduction to boxing for ages 7 to 10: exercises, drills, bag work, focus pads, partner drills - all of the above and more. In this class, participants will build character, make friends, and learn commitment and respect. The class is strict but also fun. The coaches care deeply about the students and their development. Gloves will be provided for the first month, after which participants will be required to buy their own.

Required Equipment: Skipping rope, boxing wraps, indoor gym shoes, water
LADIES’ KICKBOXING
Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Coaches: David Penny, Melissa Cross & Denice Teed
Suitable for all levels, this women’s only kickboxing class is varied and includes circuit training, bag work, focus pads, kickboxing shield work, weights, and cardio. Participants learn basic kicks and punches which evolve in complexity as they become more familiar with their ability, including various combinations. You do not have to be able to kick high or have a high fitness level to join this class. The class is warm and welcoming. Every class is different.

LADIES’ BOXING
Thursdays, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Coach: Christine Anderson
Suitable for all levels, this women’s only class combines boxing drills, aerobic exercise, and laughter for a fun and sweaty workout! A typical class starts with a brief warm-up such as running or shadow-boxing with weights, followed by a more intense cardio/strength-training circuit. The rest of the class is typically spent on boxing technique, pair work, or high-intensity boxing drills. Have fun and get fit in a supportive, empowering environment!

BOXING BOOTCAMP
Saturdays, 9 - 10 a.m.
Coach: Kim Giese
Jump-start your weekend! This class combines high intensity interval training, strength training, and boxing drills for an intense and varied workout. Suitable for all levels, a typical class starts with a short warm-up and mobility work, followed by targeted strength training exercises, high intensity cardio circuits, and boxing drills. Wrap up the class with stretching and additional mobility work to get you ready for whatever weekend adventures you have planned. Be ready to have fun and get sweaty!
